Welcome
Chiang Rai, Thailand & Chiang Mai, Thailand Picture Gallery
Northern Thailand tourist guides and magazines are nice, however, we think you might enjoy
our Chiang Rai, Thailand pictures even more. We're loading our Chiang Rai Thailand picture gallery
with our own personal photographs taken on day trips throughout Northern Thailand. If you like to read
about Thailand's people, places, Thai food, animals, and art, we recommend that you begin
by reading our Chiang Rai Thailand blog.
Our blog tells the story behind the photos and the Northern Thailand day trips. The blog also
provides links to each related photograph gallery. If you're a picture person go right ahead
and jump into the Chiang Rai Thailand Picture
gallery.
Blog Story: How many good luck charms dangling from your rear view mirror? When a car is purchased new, used or passed
onto the next owner in Thailand, it’s common for a Monk to bless the car and the new owners. King and I
visited Wat Hoy Poo in northern Chiang Rai, Thailand to bless our used 2002 Honda CRV, here are the pictures.
Blog Story:
Songkran is a traditional new year's festival held throughout Thailand April 13 - 15
of each year. To celebrate the Songkran festival, people from rural areas working in Thailand
cities travel North, East and West to celebrate Songkran with family. Tourists remember Songkran for the throwing of water,
however, there is more to Songkran.
Picture Gallery: A scenic road trip North, historical architecture, Buddhist Temples, a short hike
up to a hidden cave, giant fish, and friendly (but wild) monkeys. What more could you ask for in a Thailand day trip?
Here is a sample of the photographs you will find in our gallery under Tham Pum Tham Pla,
better known as the Mae Sai Fish Caves
just north of Chiang Rai, Thailand.
Thailand picture galleries and blog stories on this web page are just a few of our favorites.
Use the navigation menu at the top and right of each web page, or try the search box in the upper
right of most web pages. Don't forget to sign up for update emails above, and to add comments on
our blog and picture gallery for encouragement!
